A little more shop organization this weekend. Hung some pegboard to help organize the glass tools (rollers, mixers, scissors, etc). This week will see some experiments on resin infusion for glass over foam. The floor pads may lend themselves very well for easy setup for infusion. To set up the experiment, I tooks some scrap pieces of glass and wetted them out against a piece of plywood. This will simulate the side of the hull. A wedged piece of foam will simulate the floor pad. This can be seen in the photo, with the vacuum pump in the foreground. I need some tubing supplies and a bucket of infusion resin before I can finish the test (that stuff coming this week).
