New Materials

This is a new building material from those wacky, but always innovative, Aussies down under. A high density, closed cell, polyurethane substance. Very stiff and easy to cut. It has some interesting qualities:
  • heat formable
  • easy to cut
  • 100% waterproof
  • ready to paint
  • provides thermal and acoustic insulation
I can think of a few places in the project where we might be able to apply this material. Naturally, it isn't cheap. Slightly more expensive than Coosa board. Interesting stuff, however.
