Stem and Stern fittings are IN!

And they ain't comin' out!
Having obtained the proper length bolts, the forward staysail chainplate and rear backstay chainplate were installed. With the fiberglass so thick, it involved a lot of boring of the holes with a drill and dremel tool in order to allow the bolts to seat flush in the countersink.
Fittings were sealed with Sikaflex 521-UV.
I had mentioned before, this is the backstay chainplate for the sloop configuration. But we will be a ketch, so it really wont be used as a backstay. I joked it may be used to tow the dinghy, a really expensive dinghy towing bitt! But in reality this will likely be used for the mizzen boom sheet tackle.
