Yes wood!

We visited our local hardwoods dealer last week to get a survey of what is out there in terms of looks and costs. Lets just say there are lots of species and sub-species of hardwoods. Plus many types of marine plywoods (some made in China, some made in France). All with names I can't pronounce. My head is still spinning.
We brought home a sample of Khaya, a type of mahogany. It has the look of teak (and supposedly works like teak) but a fraction of the cost. It is also available as a plywood.
