Pultruded Fiberglass Grate Material for the Bow Pulpit
The final weld up of the Bow Pulpit will happen this fall. Rather than use real or even fake teak planking for the platform, I am considering this pultruded fiberglass grate material that has one side roughed for non-skid. I just encountered this stuff at a marina used for flooring atop floating dock fingers. I pulled my shoes off to walk on the stuff. I must have looked like some sort of dork. Great stuff. Feels nice under bare feet. It definitely has non-skid qualities. Examining the dock construction, it clearly can be cut with a circular saw.
